We have assembled a dynamic group of guest lecturers that bring a vast and varied wealth of experience to our mediation training programs. Our guest lecturers include local attorneys, mental health professionals, and experienced mediators that will teach you not only the theory but practical applications that you can use in your every day practice . At the end of the training, each participant will have the opportunity to serve as a mediator in a mock role play scenario. Following the mock role play, a seasoned group of mediation coaches will provide you with immediate and practical feedback. After all, mediation is mostly an art, not a science. Each of you will have a distinctive mediation style. Your tone of voice, your appearance, and your normal way of communicating with people will help to define your personal mediation style. Our coaches can help you find your style, refine your techniques, and point out deliberate strategies and tools that will help you guide the parties to settlement.
Our Florida Supreme Court Approved Non-Binding Arbitration Training is a half-day program. There is no mentorship requirement or certification process. Successful completion of the course will qualify you as a Florida Supreme Court Qualified Arbitrator. This course has been approved for 5.5 hours (including .5 ethics) of CLE for attorneys.
Our mediation training programs are certified by the Florida Supreme Court and are designed to highlight the principles underlying the mediator's role and the practical ways in which those principles apply in actual disputes that you will be called upon to mediate. We hope that you will select us for your mediation and arbitration training. We will strive to bring you an educational and enjoyable training experience loaded with practice tips and tools that will enhance your ADR practice.
